WORKSHOP: BLACK GEOGRAPHIES : A CALL TO CONNECTION - Bermondsey Project Space

Poetry Workshop with Morocco Bound

Facilitated by PHOENIX YEMI. Organised by THR!VE interns MAYA and RUTH.

PHOENIX YEMI performing earlier this month at Bermondsey Project Space

A special off-site event at Morocco Bound Bookshop, in the wake of World Poetry Day.

The workshop forms the next instalment of THR!VE Festival‘s A Call To Connection series, which focused on “the abstract prisons within an individual and the rebellion needed to exist outside of/dismantle these imposed structures and heal colonial wounds.”

This poetry workshop will be a space of reimagining through writing, reading selected poems relating to the theme of A Call To Connection, and writing a collective poem.

Free (booking required)
